Like what I’ve mentioned, some of the most important hotel booking tips are done on the phone rather than online and assigning it on your travel agent rather than by yourself.
This time let’s talk about hotel upgrade tips.
Getting a hotel upgrade doesn’t only mean moving to an executive room or suite from your single or twin sharing room. Technically it can also be moving to a room with ocean view or quiet wing as explained by Harper.
There’s no harm in asking for an upgrade as long as you’re courteous enough and most importantly the timing is just right.
Some of tips include booking for a mid range room. In this case, it’s not so awkward to ask for a room upgrade. If you also know think that there are not so many visitors in the hotel (weekdays) the better timing to ask for an upgrade.
Also dress appropriately before asking and be friendly to the receptionist and everyone in the reception area. You can also negotiate; say you will refer the hotel for their extra ordinary service and accommodation to your family, friends and even company. Little disaster can also be helpful. I know someone who had an upgrade due to the server’s fault of not informing them that the menu was not available and they had to wait for a long time.
Europe is known as the most popular and desired continent for travelers around the world. Reasons why tourists prefer Europe is its strategic location (relatively easy land travel) since its countries are connected into one amazing continent.
European travel, European vacation and even cruises are among the top searched topics in different search engines. That makes it easier for a person planning to go to Europe to have different tips before embarking on a travel.
First things first, if you will visit the continent you might as well check which cities would you like to visit. Would you like to see Paris, Venice or London? Location wise, choose the cities which are closer to one another. If you will visit France, you may head to either Germany or Spain going to Portugal.
The entire Europe is known for its architecture, history and culture so anywhere you go, you will be provided with a complete package for everything that any traveler wishes to experience.
And if I were to visit Europe, my first stay would definitely be Italy. I would love to visit the cities where I could go back to the renaissance era. Italy is also a home for fashion and style. Travelers can enjoy shopping for authentic and trendy designer clothes and stuff. Lastly and definitely the best is the Italian cuisine. No one goes to Italy and forget to fall in love with its pasta and pizza!
